Clinton, NY
A picturesque Village with unique shopping & dining | many area attractions close by
The vibrant Village of Clinton, NY is “at your doorstep” when you stay at one of the Williams Street Lodging guest suites. During the summer months “the green” is center stage for Tuesday night band concerts performing in the gazebo and on Thursdays becomes the backdrop for one of the largest, most successful Farmer’s Market in the upstate area. When in the mood for browsing, we suggest beginning at the Artisans' Corner which is located in the same building (on the corner) as Williams Street Lodging and showcases the work of over 30 artists. Other "one of a kind" merchants include two cheese shops, a health food store, yarn shop, flower boutique, dessert cafe, custom jeweler, gift shops, women’s clothing boutiques and much, much more. When you need a break from all that shopping, we highly recommend one of Clinton’s coffee cafes or restaurants and in the autumn you must include a stop at the Clinton Cider Mill with its fresh pressed cider and warm donuts. For those who would like to learn more about the area you might enjoy a visit to the Clinton Historical Society. Throughout the year, The Kirkland Art Center sponsors many gallery exhibitions and musical performances. The beautiful Hamilton College campus is also close by and there you may enjoy a visit to the newly opened Wellin Art Museum or a walk through the Arboretum and the Root Glen trails and gardens. After visiting Clinton, New York, you will also find many other area attractions and points of interest located within easy driving distance from your Williams Street Lodging guest suite.
